DUAL LANGUAGE SPANISH/MANDARIN AND IHP FAMILIES MEETING: THURSDAY, AUGUST 22, 2024

The Mark Twain staff will hold a meeting for all current Dual Language Spanish, Mandarin, and IHP Families on Thursday, August 22nd, starting at 5:30 PM in the auditorium. We will present expectations and policies for the year. Please save the date!

Summer Bridge program

Programs offered for readiness between June 13- 28 & July 29th to August 8th for all incoming 6th graders. Contact Mrs. Kerrie Olinger. Applications must be submitted by June 18th. Please see flyer here

By February 1 of each year, every school in California is required by state law to publish a School Accountability Report Card (SARC). The SARC contains information about the condition and performance of each California public school. Under the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) all local educational agencies (LEAs) are required to prepare a Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), which describes how they intend to meet annual school-specific goals for all pupils, with specific activities to address state and local priorities. Additionally, data reported in an LCAP is to be consistent with data reported in the SARC.

Parents are their child’s first and life-long teachers. They can influence their child’s educational outcomes in powerful and long-lasting ways. The core belief that parents are our partners is the foundation for our overarching policy on parent engagement and is reinforced through our Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy and School-Parent Compact, which were jointly created and approved by the parents of our Title I students.
